You have received an email from us regarding your login details.

If you cannot find it search the title "Shake up the Workplace! Login details" in your email box that you signed up for the event with. 

With this login details, you can log in to the website and register for the breakout sessions. 

To login go to the breakout sessions page

Choose the sessions that you are interested in and register. It will automatically block the sessions that have time-clash with your choice. 

You will receive emails for your registrations.

WHAT IS SHAKE UP THE WORKPLACE?

We see the disconnect and we need to act. We need to make the transition from the paradigm of "Tech vs. People" to "People and Tech" at the workplace. To tackle this transformative journey and its challenges, our mission is to create the Future of Work ecosystem in Switzerland facilitating collaboration, experimentation, and co-creation.

WHY KUNSTHAUS IS THE VENUE?

We picked Kunsthaus as the venue to be out of the usual state, to trigger the creative mind and build future in a place where history and contemporary are in sync. 

WHY 'UNCONFERENCE'?

We believe we have a long way to go for having diverse workplace players at the same table collaborating actively. In order to deliver on that promise, we chose to bring elements and formats of an UNCONFERENCE to this event. Unlike traditional conferences, an unconference is a participant-oriented gathering where the attendees decide on the agenda elements, discussion topics, and workshops. Our aim is to deliver the necessary structure for a large group (300+) and at the same time to give space for contribution, co-creation and active participation during the day. For us at "Shake Up The Workplace", unconference means your contribution is important from the moment of registration. Help us define the agenda to tackle your most pressing questions and experiment with ideas!

HOW CAN AN 'UNCONFERENCE' BE SPONSORED?

Every big idea needs financing. This is not an exception for "Shake up the workplace unconference". As traditional conferences, we work with partners to ensure mutual benefit. In this document, you can find what are the benefits we provide through the event. Our difference is we apply certain due diligence to the selection of those partners. In terms of content delivery, we work with our partners as well and we strictly work on the premise of adding value to the sessions by facilitating or sharing a business impact regarding the future of work. This event is not a sales event in regards to showcasing products at booths or delivering a presentation about products and services. The idea is we share our experiences within an ecosystem of the future of work contributors and keep it noise-free.

WHAT IS THE 'SHAKER CURVE'?

It is a curve created by the unconference team to pinpoint where you are in terms of the state of your mind & actions as well as your impact at your workplace. Imagine a chart where the x-axis represents action, the y-axis represents the impact and the curve starts from Curious and moves up to Visionary, Doer, Changemaker, Leader and to Pioneer.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This is a call to from curious minds to the shakers and makers of the future! The event is an opportunity for human-centric leaders including team leads and C-level, innovators, HR professionals, academia, government, NGOs, startups, and students to sit on the same table to co-create the future. The team of organizers thought provokers and facilitators will supply the participants with structure, space, tools, formats, and methodologies where the participants will bring their challenges and will power to tackle them.

It will be a day devoted to putting people at the heart of the workplace. Technological advancements are taking organizations by storm. HOW MANY TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE EVENT?

There are only 300 tickets available. We expect to host a diverse group across industries and rankings. We have dedicated discounted 40 tickets to Startups, NGOs and Students to ensure their participation.

WHAT CRITERIA ARE SOUGHT FOR A STARTUP TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE DISCOUNTED TICKET?

For startups to be eligible for the discounted tickets we expect them to be:

- Early-stage
- Less than 10 people
- Not more than 100K investment received

Tip: Startup vs Small Business 

The main difference is Startups focus on disrupting markets and driving top-line revenue at a fast pace via an innovative product. Small businesses, on the other hand, often set their goals on long-term, stable growth in an existing market.

 

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

WHO IS BEHIND THE SHAKE UP THE WORKPLACE?

Our core team consists of four late millennial women leaders with 10+ years of work experience. We are determined to take action, be a frontrunner and shape the future of work together with you. Check out the About section to find out more on the team and the board of advisors.

ARE THE SESSIONS RECORDED AND AVAILABLE TO VIEW AFTER THE CONFERENCE?

We will document parts of the event by taking pictures and videos.

HOW DO I GET APPROVAL FROM MY ORGANIZATION FOR MY PARTICIPATION?

This event is diverse and has a seat for everyone across industries and rankings. Therefore it is important to us that you can get the necessary approval from your organizations to be a contributor to the future of work ecosystem. Please use this document to ask your manager for your attendance.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED AS A FACILITATOR OR CO-CREATOR?

This is the beauty of an unconference. While some of the workshops will be led by our thought-provokers and content partners some others will be led by facilitators aka "Workshop shakers". The workshop-shakers will be selected among the participants who tick the field of interest during the ticket buying process. You can get the tickets here.
