When thinking about which behaviors support change - or shaking up the workplace - a lot come to mind.
For the Unconference and the Shaker Community, we would like to focus on the following few virtues.
There is one general theme around them though, Give & Receive. This virtue starts with yourself and by asking “what can I give?” in any situation without expecting anything in return. Because you know that not every encounter is a transaction and your gesture may be returned when you need it most.
Be The Leader
Change needs someone to take action and responsibility.
Lift each other up
It’s always a give-and-take. Together we succeed.
Be curious and fail
Prototype, see mistakes as an opportunity for growth and learn for life.
Just do it
Persist in the face of adversity and keep shaking it up.
Sidenote: we use ‘virtues’ because they emphasize actions over beliefs.
