The Shaker Academy encompasses a variety of virtual live and on-demand online learning formats geared towards helping you strengthen the skills you need to design your desired Future of Work and bring it to life. We want to create a positive impact on the workplaces by inviting cutting-edge experts showcasing best practices and bringing people together who can create a difference with the “shaker” mindset.

After over a year of the pandemic, most people's focus has shifted. We've gone from "how can I get my team to turn on their cameras? and "how do I know they're doing well with the added stress of working from home, homeschooling, etc?" to "how do I combat the zoom fatigue that has set in?" and "how do we work going forward - especially if there are people both in the office and at home?".

The Shake up the Workplace Community
Our idea quickly grew past organizing an event into facilitating an online community - on its own platform - where we provide a safe space to openly share questions, answers, experiences - to help and learn from each other - to protect our workplaces.
Our community activities currently also include exclusive mastermind formats and virtual coffee sessions where we share without an agenda and much more.

I am really proud to be part of the 'Shaker Community', it is a warm and welcoming group that meets to exchange ideas on how to make work better.
There is plenty of opportunity to learn and get involved with virtual coffee discussions, webinars, in-person meetings and an active Slack channel. It is great to be connected to like-minded people all striving for a better work environment.

Future of Work Unconference
UNCONFERENCE IS BACK ?

We're so excited to share that we'll be back for another legendary event in 2023!
We are planning to bring you all back to the office space and are again joining forces with Unispace.
We couldn't imagine a better partner for an occasion like this and are happy that they will open their studio located at The Circle Zurich.

About the first edition
In order to deliver on that promise, we chose to bring an Unconference-style event to Zurich. On October 19, 2020, we delivered a full-day event in Kunsthaus, featuring a long list of thought provokers: The SHAKE UP THE WORKPLACE - A Future of Work Unconference.
Unlike traditional conferences, an unconference is a participant-oriented gathering where the attendees decide on the agenda elements, discussion topics, and workshops.
